Are We Living In a Post-Fact/Post-Truth Society?

When we search for information, do we really want to find the truth or do we want to find what is most appealing to us? Are we looking for scandal or fact? The media spins so many stories to look and sound a certain way depending on the news network's views or sponsors. Personally, I don't believe that we live in a post-fact/post-truth society, but I think it is crucial to manage the information that you absorb, no matter from where and dig deeper before deeming it true.
