The Power of Social Media #UOAC

The power of social media has become exceptionally evident throughout this course. Social media has the power to influence entire generations and to expose people to information that they may not have been exposed to previously. The cultural transformation that we are currently experiencing thanks to social media is what I believe will bring us closer as a global population and prevent many people from being ignorant to the social issues around the world such as war, poverty and unfair violence. The following tweets demonstrate how we, as a class, understand the social change that social media brings about.
