Beginning the Class with Technology #UOAC


Since the first day of class, Professor Lévy not only encouraged us to live tweet during class but almost made sure we did! If someone asked a question he would tell them to ask it on Twitter. This had an interesting result: instead of Professor Lévy answering the question, students who were following the class hashtag #UOAC on their own devices would answer other student's questions and create discussion about the topic. We started to see how technology let us learn from each other more efficiently than we would have in a regular classroom setting! The tweets bellow (on my Twitter Moments page) are indicative of how students can interact with each other via social media while being exposed to new perspectives of the material shared in class.
